Marilee Ford, the principal of
Sonoma Reflections, has been designing Sonoma County
residential and commercial interiors since 1987. After twenty years, Marilee has decided to retire from the interior design business. Her efforts will be concentrated in supporting the flooring store, Hendricksen Natürlich Flooring.
As co-owner of Hendricksen Natürlich Flooring, Inc. in Sebastopol, California, Marilee supports the financial aspects of the business, and contributes to guiding their marketing efforts.
Ford has a Masters Degree in Transformative
Art from JFK University, with a specialty in
the use of art for healing and personal transformation.
In addition to her design work, Marilee was an adjunct
faculty member at Dominican University, and is currently a clnical educator at Kaiser Permanente in Santa Rosa. She also is an active participant in the local art community, coordinating the healing art exhibition at Petaluma Valley Hospital. Her artwork may be viewed at the many venues around Sonoma County and at the Plumas Arts gallery in Quincy, California, or on her website.
She brings this aesthetic sense cultivated
through fine art to her work creating beautiful interiors.
Ford also feels strongly that a lovely home needn't
come at the expense of our ecological environment, and
further, that it is our responsibility to our own health
and that of our larger living environment to be as sensitive
as possible to any materials used in our homes.
I believe that our environment
has a profound influence on the way we feel physically,
emotionally and spiritually. I am committed to supporting
you as you transform your personal spacethat area
which you controlinto a home that is liveable,
comfortable, healthy and beautiful. Let your home be
the best it can benot only for today, but also
for the future."
